About

I used to blog obsessively and I did it here.

Then I stopped because I discovered pictures and adventures and the bliss of living my life offline. Between exploring secret destinations and finding greater heights I can jump from, I managed to post a few blog entries here. And I posted a lot of pictures here.

Then, while writing a magazine column on why I stopped blogging, I discovered that, holy shit, I used to write better when I was blogging obsessively.

So here I am again and this is my attempt at kicking my old blog’s ass.

Oh and I’m 33, I work for a newspaper, I have a book out, I write, I sing, I make cupcakes, I explore the world, I love, I drink beer and I obsess about nail polish.

mona! what’s your blog url now? i’d love to start reading you again :) i can’t believe how easy blogging used to be – it was actually hard for me not to blog.. i’m still trying to get back into the swing of things..

I cannot believe I am writing to my current favorite writer.

I probably look pathetic and you most probably won’t reply but whatever, as long as this reaches you. (Because that’s what stalkers do)

I just wanted to say that you are my idol and you seem to have bumped into a lot of pervs.

I’m really sorry if I’m freaking you out with randomly commenting on your blog. I only wish I could write as awesome. I suck at writing but there’s really no excuse for that.

Er, greetings from some freaky 13 year old fan who received your book for Valentine’s.

I said the V word. (but I don’t care. Today’s just an ordinary Monday with people being especially disgusting and mushy.)

I’m sorry for bothering you. I know most people don’t want to spend Teacher’s Day alone, but nobody really likes random strangers on their blogs too.

    • You’re not freaking me out but it would be cool if you left your name and not “some freak stalker.”

And strangers post comments on this blog all the time so it’s not a problem :)

      I hope you’re enjoying the book :)

  4. I enjoyed the book a lot. A lot. A lot.

But I really am some freak stalker. I think. It just feels weird for me to suddenly show up here. *then why did I comment in the first place OTL*

I hope you release a collection of your writings and articles again sometime in the future because I have a really great time reading them. :D

      Hi Hilde!

I’m so glad you enjoyed Paper Cuts! :)

I totally understand, stalking can be fun, I’ve had my stalking moments too :P

That’s a great idea.. But for now, someone needs to crack the whip and make me finish the manuscript for Paper Cuts 2! Haha :D

  5. whaaapisssh! (is that the correct whip sound? LOL)

Paper Cuts has landed. Woot woot!!!

  6. i bought the book over a series i was really enjoying because it appealed to me in an awkward way (similar to when you get attracted to doorknobs, no?).

I bought it and now, I’m thinking fast. Thinking fast of ways to hide the titles on the pages hollering the words RedTube, vibrator, bipolar and diarrhea or else my mom would think I’m reading something from the devil.

I envy you for having a life and not a lot of rest. I believe that rest is temporarily postponing life and I want to do something all the time (its ok if you don’t agree with me)! I’m also insomniac and I have a nice family although I lack a brother and I’m a guy. (its pretty obvious I’m trying to reason out the aspiration that sooner or later I would become someone like you).

thanks for the book. its 12:01 AM and I’m not dying of boredom. Insomnia….

Hey, if this becomes a series I would need a raise in my allowance.

Hey Pam, I used to read your blog a LOT but the boring side of Life got hold of me and next thing I knew, you have a book!! CONGRATULATIONS! It shall be on my shopping list the next time I go to the bookstore. But hey, I’m glad to stumble on your wordpress once again. Now for some catch up time. Keep up the awesome work and the funny writing. :)
